Ravens vs Browns Over/Under

The Ravens vs Browns over/under is set at 45.5, a reasonable total this early in the season. Even with questions around Cleveland’s offense, we expect this matchup to have a strong chance of hitting the over. With Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry leading a dynamic Baltimore attack, the Ravens should be able to put up points both on the ground and through the air if they can get past Cleveland’s defense.

Ravens vs Browns Rivalry

The Ravens vs Browns rivalry is unique because the Ravens were actually the Browns franchise until 1996. The rivalry stings more for Cleveland fans, who point out that many Browns draft picks from 1996 to 1998 ended up on Baltimore’s roster when the Ravens won the Super Bowl in 2000. Many believe that if the Browns had stayed in Cleveland, they might have been the ones hoisting the Lombardi Trophy that year.

The Browns franchise was re-established in 1999, and since then, these two teams have met twice every regular season. Despite that, the Ravens hold a commanding lead in the rivalry, 37-15, and taking at least a split in every decade. The two teams have never faced off in the playoffs.

With Baltimore’s young, talented core and Cleveland still in the midst of rebuilding, this rivalry could become even more compelling in the coming years.
