Few NFL franchises have been as consistently excellent as the Baltimore Ravens have over the last 20-plus years, winning a pair of Super Bowls from 14 playoff berths under head coaches Brian Billick and John Harbaugh.
Harbaugh has been especially successful during his 15-year run with the club, posting a .607 winning percentage. Against the spread he has also been a winner with a record of 132-119-11. That is a 52.6% winning percentage as we enter the first full NFL season with Maryland sportsbook apps.

Overall, Harbaugh’s 52.9% cover percentage ranks 13th out of the NFL’s 29 coaches that have been a head coach for at least a season in their current jobs.
That would be a slight moneymaker for Maryland sports betting customers had they been able to wager legally during the Ravens coach’s entire tenure.
The 15th year head coach in the Charm City ranks ninth among NFL head coaches with three or more years coaching in the league. Seattle Seahawks longtime leader Pete Carroll has covered the spread in 53.2% of his games with the team.
Leaguewide, Harbaugh’s cover percentage ranks well behind league leaders, such as Brian Daboll of the New York Giants (73.7%), Dan Campbell of the Detroit Lions (67.7%) and Zac Taylor of the Cincinnati Bengals (60%). All of those coaches have relatively short tenures.
Harbaugh ranked ahead of his other AFC North peers, such as Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin (52.1% cover percentage) and Kevin Stefanski of the Cleveland Browns (44.2%), showing how well he has led Baltimore under his 15-year run with the team.
