BetMaryland.com took a pause from reviewing Maryland sportsbook apps to ask fans to submit their favorite unhealthy fare within Reddit.com’s subreddit r/mlb. We ranked the top 10 most unhinged, unhealthy, yet fan-favorite foods based on the number of upvotes a comment received. Note: Not all these items are available currently.

Where O’s Warehouse Dog Ranks In MLB

This year, “The Warehouse Dog” is available during Baltimore Orioles games at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. What is this MLB food item? According to mlb.com, it’s a foot-long hot dog topped with horseradish-infused brick sauce, pit beef queso fundido, pickled pico and onions, all served on top of an obscenely large pretzel bun.

Leaguewide, Baltimore’s newest treat drew the fourth-most votes from fans when it came to discussion surrounding unhealthy yet popular ballpark food items, alongside the Arizona Diamondbacks’ churro dog. At least the Orioles look healthy on the field – Caesars Maryland Sportsbook rates Baltimore as the fourth favorite to win the World Series, at +850 odds; only the Dodgers (+350), Braves (+550) and Yankees (+700) are ahead of the O’s as of May 2.

The O’s tribute to gluttony fell short of other ballpark staples, such as the Washington Nationals’ mumbo fried chicken sandwich. That item at National Park led all MLB food menu items with 30 upvotes, while the Tampa Bay Rays’ pulled pork BBQ nachos were second, with 14 upvotes.

Throw in the Colorado Rockies’ ode to rocky mountain oysters (11 upvotes) and you have the full rundown on the menu items that topped Baltimore’s grandiose hot dog in 2024.

Leaguewide, Baltimore’s offering beat the Cleveland Guardians’ slider dog (six upvotes), the Texas Rangers’ rattlesnake hot dog (four), Tampa Bay’s sweet pretzel bites (three) and the Milwaukee Brewers’ “The Beast” (two), rounding out the list of the least healthy popular menu items at MLB parks across America this season.
